Respiratory Rate
There are many new
technologies that being developed to improve accuracy, efficacy
and/or performance for measuring respiration rate. Traditional
measurement schemes have used airflow, impedance, etc. for this
parameter.
Software,
hardware, accessories, and/or system parts modifications must be
evaluated to show equivalence or improvements.
As with other monitoring technologies, the FDA and
International standards Organization has established guidelines to
be followed for testing. The procedures described in this protocol
will allow manufacturers and researchers to take advantage of our
expertise to develop the appropriate performance of each of these
monitoring technologies under a variety of conditions, to compare
technologies, and to provide data for regulatory validation
submissions.
We have a large subject base which have a wide variety of
respiratory anomalies.
